Toy Stories
Create comedy toy scenes around the house to surprise grown-ups and visitors
This is a great way for kids to indulge their natural cheekiness by setting out scenes to surprise and delight those who discover them.
Step 1The best way to get the kids started on this activity is to do the first scene together so they get the idea.
Step 2Get the kids to choose a selection of miniature characters. You might choose some plastic animals or dinosaurs, or their favourite collection of lego characters.
Step 3Next decide on who you are going to surprise and what the scene is, and then get creative. Below are a couple of ideas for inspiration:
Set up a washbasin with the characters waiting to help out. They might be holding toothbrushes and toothpaste, they could wrap themselves in a flannel or holding the soap ready to hand over
Lay out breakfast with your characters getting actively involved. They might be peeping out of the cereal, reclining in a bowl of milk or about to dive off a positioned breakfast spoon ready for a milky swim
